About Us
Who Are We?
We are a501 (c) (3) non-profit foundation that consists of a loving team of mothers, attorneys, businessmen, U.S. veterans, sisters, and friends. Our goal is to keep families together that have found themselves in a tight bind facing homelessness and to do all that we can to keep these families together under the same roof.
Our History
We launched this foundation because we discovered that there were many children living in uninhabitable homes here in our city under our noses. One of the children that we spoke with, who was only 9 years old at the time, talked about being afraid to go to sleep at night because the roof would cave in at times. After hearing this heartfelt story our Executive Director, Mitanni Spruill-LeSueur, made a promise to do all that she could to start a non-profit that was geared towards helping the poor. It is now our mission to reduce homelessness, provide shelter and to not have another little boy or girl afraid to sleep at night due to poor living conditions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help our impoverished neighbors with the basic necessities to live a healthy and fruitful life. We aim to provide shelter relief, educational outlets, job resources, hot meals, medicine, and many other life enriching services to those in need. Our goal is to keep families together that have found themselves in a tight bind facing homelessness and to do all that we can to keep these families together under the same roof.
